Equipped with an Electrical Master's license, a truck and tools, Bob Bowne first began operating his electrical contracting business from his family's home in Central Austin in 1986.

Several decades later, growing to an employee group of nearly 60 people, Bowne Electric, Inc. has matched the pace of Austin's tremendous growth.

His drive to succeed, serve others and promote that ideology within his operations has helped the company build a solid reputation as a contractor and employer.
